SPN Picspam: AHBL, part 2 - Part 1

The SPN Picspams are back!!!!!!!! Yaaaaaay!!!!!

*throws confetti, does little dance*

Back in October I announced I'd be taking a little hiatus from capping and picspamming. Well, a few weeks ago I started to miss doing them and knowing I already had all of this season's episodes capped, I decided it was time to get back to business. The break was nice and I needed it badly, but posting all these caps is fun too.

Anyway, there's some changes this time around. I'm going to be posting all of my caps for each episode. There might be a few where I'll feel the need to just pick the best ones, but for the most part you'll be getting every. single. one. That means big picspams, in several parts. It'll be similar to my episodic DA picspams. Gone will be the smaller, scene by scene picspams (though I might repost some in the form of my favorite scene picspams in the future). I'm also throwing out the Tuesday/Thursday schedule I was keeping before. It was difficult to maintain it and I think it will be better to just try and post whenever I can.

Note: I'll only post a zipped folder of all the caps if I get enough requests. So let me know. :)

Alrighty then, let's get to the picspam! I'm starting with AHBL, part two because I realized I had uploaded these months ago and never got to posting them. Heehee! There are 84 caps in this first part. They're 953x536 - nice & big and at good resolution because they were taken from a Hi-Res download. I'm actually very pleased with these. Enjoy! :D

I'm figuring on 5 or 6 parts for this episode & I should be posting the next part tomorrow or the next day.

We start with a few caps from the great recap. Impala in action, the boys with guns, and at the crossroads.


Dean's getting a lot of experience at summoning that crossroads demon. Sam becomes a reluctant leader and faces down ol' Yellow Eyes in part one.


*weeps* They killed Sammy! What a great opening scene! Sam looks so peaceful, so innocent and then there's Dean...broken and defeated.


Oh, man. *cries for Dean* So sad...


Those dead eyes...they just kill me!


I love this row of caps...Jensen just looks amazing, even when he's showing Dean at his lowest point.


Geez...He's going to make me cry. I know he is.


That violent outburst at Bobby and then that little voice break as he apologizes....*whimper*


Great body language here from Jensen. Dean's just ready to give it all up and die himself.


That reluctant look over at Sam and another signature rack focus shot pulled off to great effect.


OMG! I got it! The tear! *cries*


Now to one of the best scenes of the eppy and probably one of Jensen's best scenes ever! Great lighting on his face here...stunning.


Dean's speech tells us so much and in such a beautiful way. As a loving soliloquy from one brother to another.


Jensen gives everything he has to this performance.


The way his voice breaks on "And I screwed it up..." *dies*


How can the man be that beautiful while crying? I just wanna hold him. *cries for Dean*


Hand!Porn! Meanwhile...anybody got any extra tissues? *sniffle*


So much guilt, so much pain. How many burdens can this poor guy possibly carry?


The portrait of a broken man....pushed beyond all hope.


The final plea...."What am I supposed to do?"


And a final roar of anguish and bitterness.
