Walking: Day 53 of 2012
Nov. 10th, 2012 04:43 pmOfficially I haven't walked in 2 weeks. Boo. However, I did use the exercise bike in my room a few times so I figure that helps take up the slack. ;)
With the temps dropping further it really is getting difficult to go out and walk. Somehow breathing in that cold air really zaps my energy. I'm still sticking close to home, only walking in our neighborhood. But going nearly 2 miles isn't anything to quibble over, I guess. Temps were in the mid 40s (brrr), but at least it was sunny and not breezy. My weight is...holding. Thankfully I'm not packing on more pounds, considering what goodies I've been eating. *iz bad* I've come to the conclusion that it's hard to lose weight in the fall/winter. It's harder to exercise, the motivation isn't as strong to exercise (I tend to go into hibernation mode - maybe I'm part bear?), and there's a lot more food temptations about due to the holidays. Plus in cold weather there's nuts, hot soups, cookies, and all those cozy comfort foods out there just dying to be eaten. It's an uphill battle compared to the rest of the year. Still, I can't complain. Everything in moderation, right? As long as I don't add to my weight, I'll be satisfied.
Stats from MapMyWalk.com:
Miles = 1.96
Time = 37 minutes
Calories = 344
