Celebrated the first day off from mom's treatments (yay!) by going for my first walk of the new year. :)

It was foggy and cold (only 37 degrees) and there's an air stagnation warning in effect, but I needed to get off my butt and get back to walking. I've really missed it and a whole month and a half has gone by with no exercise. Definitely feeling it, too. Not only is my weight up (yikes) but for the past week or so I've had a pain in my left backside. I had this problem many years ago and recognize it as Sciatica. Not fun. But I've been doing so much sitting around, it was bound to happen eventually. Hopefully, if I can get back into a walking routine it'll go away.
