raloriaCame up with this idea a couple of week ago about how SPN begins and ends each episode. What is the very first image we see for an episode? What is the last? I must admit, the final scenes are often more memorable for me, but even I was surprised by what the very last image was at times.
I'll try to post these at least twice a week, maybe every Monday & Friday (but don't hold me to those days!). I've already got all the images for Seasons 1 & 2 ready to go. Sometimes there will be more than one cap for a beginning or ending of an episode. I'm also using my capper's discretion - meaning I'm choosing the most aesthetically pleasing image that we see first or last not always literally the first or last things we see. I'll explain this as we go along.

1.01 Beginning: We all recognize this house. Something that struck me for the first time as I was getting this cap though is that this is not the same house we later see in "Home". Of course, this is because the Pilot was filmed in California while all the rest of the eps are shot in Vancouver, Canada. It's close, but this house has a little front porch that doesn't exist on the house they later used. :P Oh! And who can forget how the shadow of that tree creepily bent up?
1.01 Ending: The boys on the scene after Jessica's death. Sam tosses a shotgun into the weapon's cache and utters a line Dean will mirror by the end of Season 2: "Come on. We got work to do."
