I knew things were going too well

To quote Dean..."Seriously, what the hell?"

I was doing the normal LJ stuff, having a fine day, listening to a Jim Reeves song, and my computer was humming along beautifully. Next thing I know my screen goes black, Jim Reeves cuts out, and my computer's rebooting!!!! WTH???? So everything comes back up fine on the computer like nothing went wrong. *headdesk* I haven't got a clue what caused this. I just did a full Anti-Virus and spyware scan of the entire system yesterday and it's clean. Sure, I was running several programs, but nothing that would cause the computer to just shut down. I've had a lot more applications running before. I'm also one of those people who periodically checks to see how much memory the system's using and how the CPU is running. In fact, I just checked it not long before the incident occurred and everything was within acceptable levels. I don't get it. Maybe it was just one of those weird, once in a while things. One of the bits collided with a byte wrong. I don't know. All I do know is now I'm frustrated, freaked out, and can feel a headache coming on. *Sigh* :(

This also means that my plans for my picspams this week is now shot. I was just about to start in on some capping when this happened. (Maybe the computer sensed it and had a freak-out moment?) So no picspams this week. I need to cap the next two SPN episodes (one of which I found out I need a download for) and I don't have the next DA episode fully capped yet. Grrrr! Another week behind. Oh, well. I guess now I'll have more time to get caught up with my replies. :| Meh. Not that I don't want to get caught up...it's just that I wanted to get the picspams out this week. *Sigh* The best laid plans....

I'm going to the college lab Tuesday, since Wednesday is a major holiday here in the U.S. (Independence Day), and the college will be closed. Plan to get more downloads of episodes and other SPN related goodies. I'll try to get back to more of your comments then as well. Thanks again for being so patient with me. *hugs flist*
