Despite SPN not being on last night, I still recorded the CW during primetime in the hopes that I'd get the latest Supernatural promo for Season Three's first episode. I got lucky and managed to get it on DVD my first try! :D

Obviously, this ad contains spoilers for the first episode of S3. Proceed with caution if you're avoiding all spoilers. You have been warned!

A little teaser, because *guh* it's Dean!

Just found this review on DVDVerdict.com.

I don't always agree with the reviewer's opinion on the episodes, after all, I like all the episodes...even the ones that aren't stellar have their good points. But the review is very in-depth and ends with this lovely observation about the brothers...

Supernatural: The Complete Second Season may be too self-absorbed for the casual viewer, but fans, particularly female fans, will likely be pulled in by the emotional roller coaster. It wasn't until I watched several episodes in a row that I realized how often these boys cry on this show. When they aren't crying, they're proclaiming their love and devotion for each other (if not exactly to each other), or they're holding, touching, and hugging. Mind you, I'm not complaining. I prefer my men on the emo side. Says Sam to Dean in the finale, "You're my big brother. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you." And that, right there folks, is the reason you watch Supernatural.

Oh, yes...gotta love the brotherly angst. :D

If this show just had two pals (non-related) or two characters that didn't get along, would we care? I think not. It's the bond shared by the brothers that keeps us watching. Seeing them struggle not only with things supernatural, but with each other at times, while fiercely protecting each other is what drives the show.

I'm doing this from my local library, so this will be a short post without the usual mapping. Just wanted to give a heads up to those of you in Vancouver about the following sign sightings mentioned on the HNR Forums.

Reported by Snaker early this morning:

Burrard & Dunsmuir there are signs for both days excluding parking from 6PM-6AM.

Might be something big!

And this by lightdude:

Hey Snaker, I saw a Supernatural sign pointing there this morning

Looks like the boys may be in for an all night shoot tonight.

Edit - Sept. 22nd: Sorry, gang, but further reports show this turned out to be for a car commercial and not SPN. Meh :(
