Just when you thought it was safe to check out LJ

Just some interesting observations (in an observationally interesting sorta way *snerk*) and news...

* Bumper sticker seen on a mini van last night: "Mini Vans are tangible proof of evil" Mwuhahahahah!

* Item seen at the grocery store last night: Jensen's Orchard Asparagus & Olive potato chips
(What the...???? Gross! Btw, I think it was asparagus & olive...or maybe it was artichoke & olive. Really doesn't matter, they both suck. LOL Oh, and Jensen's Orchard...in CA. *snigger* And when I saw them all I could think was how there's no way Dean would eat those chips. *giggles*)

* A little rant about the current state of the fandom: First we have people complaining about Jensen's latest interview where he mentions his girlfriend and now we have some so-called fans complaining...COMPLAINING! about the good ratings so far this season! They don't like how much the show has changed and are disappointed that people are flocking to it now. What the hell???? Here I am being excited that our ratings are showing some improvement and I see this wank going on? Note: If you don't like the show - stop watching it! Why are you hanging out with the rest of us who still love the show if all you're going to do is complain about it? Go peddle your stinky fish someplace else.

Oh, and back to Jensen for a second...first people complained that he didn't open up enough and seemed too distant. So he finally lets us in on a little about his private life (which is unusual for him and I totally respect him wanting to keep parts of his life from the public) and people tear into him about that. Grrrr! Geez...how dare the guy be happy and have a girlfriend, right? I, for one, am glad to hear that he's happy and hope he's found someone that he'll stay with like Jared has found with Sandy.

Btw, this is not directed at anyone on my flist. It's just something I had to get off my chest after looking around on LJ today and seeing a lot of the latest wank going on in some comms.

* Didn't get my First Impressions post done for "Sin City" on Thursday night like I wanted to, because after making my other two posts I was tired. Hope to get it up sometime today/tonight...pretty b&w cropped Dean cap included! ;)

* Still need to cap Sin City either today or tomorrow.

* A couple of people friended me! *waves to new people*

* I woke up early today and I'm determined to:
- Get caught up in my online class (Media Law & Ethics - meh)
- Get to more LJ replies.

* It was foggy this morning. *happy sigh* Don'tcha just love fall?

* And just because I feel like it...a little favorite TV show quote to share. MASH was one of my favorite TV shows growing up. I have all the episodes on DVD now and have seen them so many times over the years I can practically quote them by heart! Enjoy!

First Impressions: 3.04 Sin City

These are just my first impressions of the season's fourth episode. My full-length review with caps will be posted later. This just gives me a chance to express my initial thoughts about the episode and touch on a few highlights.
