I apologize for falling behind. I was busy with final class projects and then I got busy with online stuff. But here's the next set of tunes...all shiny and new.

I'm going to try to post one or two seasonal/holiday songs a day. These will come from either my own CD collection or my online findings. I'll try my best to make a post each day and we'll see how many I can get done by Christmas day. These songs will run the gamut: from traditional to modern takes on old classics. There will be country, pop, jazz, oldies, big band, new age, comedy....anything and everything. And don't think that if you don't celebrate Christmas that there won't be anything for you. Not all of the offerings will be specific to Christmas. Some will be just about winter. They will all be favorites of mine and I'll give you some info. and why it's my fave with each song. Happy Listening!

Note: I'm using SendSpace for all of these downloads. Since I'm on dialup, it was just a logical choice to choose one host. If you have any trouble getting a song and would like me to use MegaUpload instead, just let me know and I'll try to get it up for you there.

I will also have each of these posts available to all for one week and then will Friends lock them.

Day 8 --

Christmas Time Is Here -- By The Vince Guaraldi Trio from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and an unknown online source.

Sorry the quality isn't the best with this track. Sometimes the stuff you get for free online isn't the greatest, but it's better than not having it at all. Anyone who's seen the classic Peanuts Christmas special will know this tune.

Santa Claus' Party -- By Les Baxter & his Orch. from an unknown online source.

This is a fun tune from late in the big band era (early fifties). "Let's have a party..."

*** I'd love a comment if you're downloading any of the songs, thanks! ***

With next week's newest episode now less than a week away, I wanted to do something kinda fun. For those of you who have already seen pics from the Christmas eppy, you've probably already wondered about this chosen pic. For those of you who know nothing about this episode and want to keep it that way? I'd turn back now. ;)

Pic & question hidden behind the cut, for those who are truly remaining spoiler free )

I meant to get this posted in time for both of your birthdays, but my college finals kicked in and I had to take care of that first. Hope you still enjoy the pretty caps!

Happy Belated Birthday Wishes to you!!!

You're both DeanGirls as I can see, so I figured these were a pretty safe bet. ;)

Eight full-sized caps -- not very dialup friendly )

Hey all! The wonderful Dana from Pretty As A Picture left a comment in one of my posts a few days ago and I thought I'd copy & paste it here to share with all of you.

Hay, been a while since I checked in :)
Wanted to tell you something fun, which doesn't really apply to PAAP but it applies to the fandom. For the third year in a row I'm hosting a christmas calendar which gives away a gift everyday until the 24th. It features Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars AND Supernatural! I'd suggest checking it out :) All in the spirit of the holidays and all :)

When you click on the link you'll see a splash screen with info. about the calendar (which essentially means goodies are posted each day until the 24th). Just click on one of the two little links in the TV screen and you'll be taken to the site. Right now for SPN there's a wallpaper featuring Sam & Ruby! In fact, if you go to Browse>Graphics>Miscellaneous on the site (or just click on the graphic below), you'll see a Dean wallpaper along with the Sam & Ruby one! Very pretty!

So take a look and keep checking back to see what else she adds in the days to come. :D
