I finally was able to play the DC clip of 3.08 on the CW site. Yeah, I gave in and installed the software, which really didn't appear to be anything at all other than Java, which I think I already have. Hmph. Anyway, it appears there still isn't any showing of this on YouTube anywhere, which is kinda odd. So still no luck for our non-American friends who remain in the dark thanks to the CW. But before I get into the stupid practices this season by the network, I'll tell you what I've got.

It's not the download of the video, I'm sorry to say. I just don't have those capabilities. However, I was able to cap the streaming video!!! I was surprised myself that it worked. :)

So here are 20 caps of the clip. Not the same as seeing the video footage, but at least we get to see the boys. :D

I fixed them up a bit in iPhoto (which I'm still learning), so they look a bit better than the originals. The size (482x360) hasn't been tweaked at all.

* Please credit me if you take any/use them.
* Comments would be appreciated.
* Feel free to pimp this post wherever you like.

20 caps - clearly spoilery - slightly dialup friendly because of cap size )

I'm going to try to post one or two seasonal/holiday songs a day. These will come from either my own CD collection or my online findings. I'll try my best to make a post each day and we'll see how many I can get done by Christmas day. These songs will run the gamut: from traditional to modern takes on old classics. There will be country, pop, jazz, oldies, big band, new age, comedy....anything and everything. And don't think that if you don't celebrate Christmas that there won't be anything for you. Not all of the offerings will be specific to Christmas. Some will be just about winter. They will all be favorites of mine and I'll give you some info. and why it's my fave with each song. Happy Listening!

Note: I'm using SendSpace for all of these downloads. Since I'm on dialup, it was just a logical choice to choose one host. If you have any trouble getting a song and would like me to use MegaUpload instead, just let me know and I'll try to get it up for you there.

I will also have each of these posts available to all for one week and then will Friends lock them.

Day 10 --

Today's 2 selections are both online discoveries and their quality isn't the best. But they're still happy, jolly songs that I think would be next to impossible to find any better. If you like polkas, this is the post for you! :D

Christmas Chimes -- By Frank Yankovic from an unknown online source.

The polka king gives us a rousing tune! This is a fun little number.

Christmas Polka -- By Jim Reeves from an unknown online source.

Now we get a country polka from Jim Reeves. Everybody dance!

*** I'd love a comment if you're downloading any of the songs, thanks! ***

I know it's frustrating that nobody's put the 3.08 DC on YouTube yet (believe me, I've looked). If I had the software and the know-how to do this on a Mac, I would. The best I could do was my caps yesterday.

But here's some good news...look at how much time we've got left (this is U.S. Pacific Coast time anyway):

So hang in there, folks! Only 3 more days! We'll make it. :D
