New Header & Background for February

Had this sudden desire to change the look again of my LJ. It was getting a little depressing seeing broken Dean all the time with the dark green.

The red background is back my sweets!!! Whoo-hoo!!!!!! I maybe biased because I made it myself, but it's still my favorite. :D

The header is one I've been waiting for the right time to use, and this being Valentine's Day month - this is it! After the 14th I'll change it again....already got it all picked out. ;)

DA episode caps poll

Bleh. LJ won't let me post two polls at a time. Phooey! >:P

So we'll go with my DA cap question first. I made a post last week of caps from Dark Angel's Pilot episode, covering all the main characters. I provided sample caps and a zipped folder download of all 92 caps. The zipped folder got 1 download.

So I'm wondering if there's even any interest in these. I started them because I had requests from at least 2 people for them. One has let me know that she no longer needs them and dhark_charlotte, if you still want those caps of young Ben, Pollo Loco is my next episode to cap.

But I see no need to continue to post these caps if nobody is interested, so please let me know your opinion. Thanks. :)

Do I hear a vote for more icon posts?

I've posted a lot of my icons over the few years I've been here on LJ, but there's also a ton that have never seen the light of day. I've done a rough count and there's approx. 400 icons total that I've made. By now it's become difficult to keep track of which ones I've posted in my big icon posts and those I haven't.

So I propose a daily post of 3 icons. Why 3, you ask? Because one seemed like too little and five seemed like too many. Keep in mind, you're likely to see icons I've posted before, but as I said there will be lots that you haven't....and besides, the older ones are bound to be new to some people. ;)

Your comments and suggestions are always welcomed. Thanks! :D

I see a lot of my flisters are getting snow. Whether you love it or hate it, you can't call it boring. In my little corner of the world we're getting partly cloudy days. Nice and normal, but I do wish it would start to warm up some. I'm sick of being cold all the time. The photo project is still in progress, but things are moving along a little faster and I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just wish I was closer to it. I hear the Steelers won the Super Bowl. Big woop. I spent the day watching movies. Heh. Happy Monday everyone! :D

Quickies 4

:: The poll results are in, both landslides. "No" for the DA caps, except for one person (who are you?). It's a little disappointing, considering all the time and work I put into making & fixing caps that I now learn nobody wants. *ahem* Moving on. There was a resounding "Yes" for the 3-Icons-A-Day posts, so I'll be starting those soon.

:: RANT AHEAD: I hate false advertising, especially online. If something is free, it should be free. Fifteen cents a track is not free!!!!!! I don't know how many times I've followed the links to something because they said it was free, only to find out it really isn't. SO IRRITATING!!!!!

:: I didn't work on the photo project at all today. I feel a little bad about it, but then I also had a weird dream that I think resulted from them a few nights ago. A lot of the same people, but the thing was....we were filming something else. And all I remember is I had to go find somebody, so I went outside and it was raining and I had no shoes on, only socks. Weird stuff. Anyhoo...so I'm taking a day off.

Instead I've been working on a special music vid. It's proving to take longer than I would like. Selecting all the clips is painstaking work and I'm only halfway done. But I've got this idea in my head and it won't go away. Hopefully it'll turn out to be as special as what I have visualized in my head.

:: I feel bad about not posting enough goodies lately. So I'm going to start in again. It'll be small stuff...don't go looking for a SPN Revealed for a bit yet (sorry). Some caps here, some fanart there. Keep everybody happy - me included. :)

:: My new approach to replying to comments seems to be working. I've been getting back to everyone since I took control of the situation and I feel much better for it. My true test, however, will be on a big post, with lots of comments. If I can handle that, I'll feel like I've really accomplished something. Once this project is done I'll have the time to start in on the backlog of older comments.
