Just 'Cause

This cap is from S4 "Are You There God? It's Me, Dean Winchester".
Since we had Dean with his eyes closed yesterday, why not have the same from Sam today? It's rare that we see either of the boys sleeping and this image of Sam sacked out at Bobby's place is simply adorable. Awww....*kisses sweet sleeping Sammy* :)
I'm going to get caught up on the recent comments later today. I can't let it get further out of control. Beyond, that...more of the usual...photo project, LJ, drooling over Jensen, counting down the days to 4x15. Stuff like that. ;) Happy weekend everyone! *hugs*
Just a reminder that I've still got the squeefest post going for 4x15 until the episode airs. I'll keep posting reminders about it each day and directing everyone to the original post because I want it all in one place. :)

Walking: I must be crazy...
Mar. 7th, 2009 05:36 pm...to go out walking on a day like this. It's cold (upper 30's, near 40 F), sunny (with no warmth at all), and very windy. Snow is supposed to be heading into the area overnight, though some places have already gotten some snow showers. Whether we get any, who knows? Snow is very unpredictable around here.
Anyhoo, after not being home on Friday, I continued my walking this afternoon. I bundled up (heavy coat & scarf) and after walking the short block back around to my house I was freezing and decided to put on a hat! It made a world of difference and I continued on with the longer loop around the neighborhood in relative comfort (except for my face which was still exposed to the bitter wind).
I remembered to weigh myself yesterday! No, I'm not telling you how much I weigh. Let's just say I was pleasantly surprised as I weigh less than I thought I would. But it's nowhere near what I would like to be, so walk, walk walk.
Notes For Today's Walk:
:: No animal sightings except for some birds enjoying the winds. Most animals were smarter than me and decided to stay inside. :P
:: The sounds of the cars on the nearby freeway were so loud!
:: Did the same reverse of my route like I did on Thursday, which meant I came up that little hill. By the second time the wind was really gusting against me! But I took it up as a challenge and pressed on! I chanted "Vancouver Con, Vancouver Con!" in my head. Heehee! :)

Quickies 6
Mar. 7th, 2009 11:53 pm:: Bought the book of "Supernatural: John Winchester's Journal" by Alex Arvine last night. I've started reading it already and read a bunch of the cool passages about Dean and Sam. It's neat reading and matches up well with what we already know from the show. Loved reading about how Dean slept in baby Sammy's crib to keep him safe right away after Mary's death and how he quickly showed his hunting skills. Then you've got Sam wanting to be normal almost immediately and being a geeky Mac-loving, research kid. :)
:: We've gotten a little snow already. Not much...less than an inch. I keep checking out the local radar for more snow showers, but it's all heading to the mountains in the east for now. It looks like Vancouver might be getting some of this stuff, too. I'm watching the webcams up there, but they seem normal so far.
:: Made some cool fractal backgrounds for text icons tonight with Aviary.com. Next step is to open them in Picnik and tweak/refine/resize and then add various SPN quotes. I had a lot of fun making the fractals. I never knew what color combinations I would get, but some of them were so pretty! I now have over 50 of them in a folder waiting for those next steps.
:: LJ seems unusually quiet lately. In a way that's a good thing, right? No wank going on, that I know of anyhow. But it's boring with things so quiet. I want to post things, but who will see it? *sigh* Maybe things will pick up tomorrow with reports from the NJ Con. Jared may not be there, but Jim and Misha are. Wheee! Can't wait to start reading people's reports, looking at their photos and videos. :)
