No regrets

This quote is the embodiment of why I'm going to VanCon. I've never gone to a convention, but then I've never been this obsessed, this in love with a TV show before either. SPN holds a special place in my heart. It's no ordinary TV show. The episodes, the actors, and the people I've met (if only online) are going to stick with me long after the show stops production.
So why not do something daring? Why not travel 150 some miles to meet the actors, see the studio, and revel in all things SPN with people who are as obsessed as I am? Sure, it's not the most sane thing to do. Some might think it's a little crazy. But if I've learned anything from my dad's death 3 years ago and then my uncle's in May, it's that life is unpredictable. Live it up now, you don't know what's coming around the bend. Take that chance, go for the adventure, try new things, and don't let logic hold you back.
I know there are people who've gone to numerous conventions and others who will never get the chance. I plan to go to Vancouver as a sponge and I'm going to soak everything in. Carpe Diem! :D
