This cap is from S1 "Something Wicked".

I'm tired so this cap seemed to fit my mood. My fuzzy brain isn't thinking too clearly, but I will say that even when Dean's weary he looks pretty. :)
Busy Friday and it's now August. Um...my internet went out for about 20 minutes, but thankfully I got it working again. Yep....can't brain. Totally bedtime for me. Catch you all on the flipside when I can actually function. Have a good Saturday. *hugs*

Once again it's time to take a look at who all has visited my LJ for the month and where you all come from (which I find fascinating!). Thanks to all of you for visiting my little corner of LJ. Hope you've found your stay enjoyable and you're always welcome to return. :D

All the stat graphs & numbers for the month - lots of graphics, not very dial-up friendly... )

Mom & I finished watching the 7th Season of Magnum P.I. last night. I'd almost forgotten how the season had ended, but once we started watching the season finale, it all came back.

"Limbo" was supposed to be the series finale, but after Tom Selleck said he'd do a shortened 8th season, it was greenlit and there were 12 more episodes. However, in "Limbo", Magnum is shot and initially it looks like he's dead (friends gather at Robin's Nest all wearing black, talking about him in the past tense). They did manage to do some editing to show that Magnum was in a coma instead. Doesn't work too well though. Anyway, Magnum's spirit is walking around, observing his friends and the song "Looking For Space" by John Denver plays several times to great effect. By the end of the episode, Magnum's spirit walks off into the clouds, his goodbyes all said.

It's a beautiful song and of course I tracked it down right away. Thought I'd share it with everyone. :)

Looking For Space - John Denver.mp3 (5mb)

On the road of experience, I'm trying to find my own way.
Sometimes I wish that I could fly away.
When I think that I'm moving, suddenly things stand still.
I'm afraid cause I think they always will.
And I'm looking for space and to find out who I am, and I'm looking to know and understand.
It's a sweet, sweet dream, sometimes I'm almost there.
Sometimes I fly like an eagle and sometimes I'm deep in despair.

All alone in the universe, sometimes that's how it seems.
I get lost in the sadness and the screams.
Then I look in the center and suddenly everything's clear.
I find myself in the sunshine and my dreams
And I'm looking for space and to find out who I am, and I'm looking to know and understand.
It's a sweet, sweet dream, sometimes I'm almost there.
Sometimes I fly like an eagle and sometimes I'm deep in despair.

On the road of experience, join in the living day.
If there's an answer it's just that it's just that way,
When you're looking for space and to find out who you are.
When you're looking to try and reach the stars.
It's a sweet, sweet, sweet dream, sometimes I'm almost there.
Sometimes I fly like an eagle and sometimes I'm deep in despair.

Sometimes I fly like an eagle.
Like an eagle. I go flyin' high.

Can't believe I haven't walked for a whole month, but it's true. Bleh.

Now that the heat is over (for the most part) I decided to get back to my walks as much as I can. After all, there's only 26 days until we leave for VanCon! Yikes! That fact is frightening and exciting at the same time. :P

The weather was nice. The sun was setting, the temp was cool & comfortable with a great breeze down at ground level. I stayed in my own neighborhood and took the big loop (w/the hill - go me!) and the variation of the medium & small loops. Near the end I noticed this small prop plane circling the neighborhood. WTH? Go away voyeurs! We're not that interesting down here!

Btw, there's a 1967 Dodge down the street from us. Does that count as a near Impala sighting? *g* It's parked on the the street almost all the time and the owners have a bunch of other old cars in their driveway. I like seeing the old cars. :)

Stats from MapMyWalk.com:
Miles = 1.49
Time = 28 min.
Calories = 120
