Location Hunting: Report 2
Jul. 31st, 2009 04:46 amThought I'd let you in on my recent progress with this "little" project called the SPN Locations List. :P
I believe I can finally say I'm completely done with Season One. Pretty much found everything I'm going to and have all the locations capped from the episodes.
Some info. to pass along from my findings:
* Century House is not in "Shadow", it's in "Provenance".
* Fort Langley was not the filming location for "Faith". That house is in Surrey & is the same one in "Family Remains".
* There's no evidence that the Burrard St. bridge was used in "Hook Man".
* Don't go by that 2601 Lougheed Highway, Coquitlam address for Riverview. It's wrong.
* I can't see where St. Andrew-Wesley Church was used at all in "Salvation". That interior church scene with Meg & Pastor Jim doesn't match St. Andrew's at all.
Some of my victories aka things I've found that proved challenging:
* Can honestly say I've found every single location (7 in all) in the episode "Shadow" w/photographic proof to back it up.
* I finally found the Ladner Slough Bridge. Don't ask me why, but I had trouble tracking it down at first.
* Found the exact location of that antique store the boys break into in "Bloody Mary". Right down to finding the name of the store across the street on the corner.
* Found the Lulu Island Trestle, too, which had been eluding me. Yay! \0/
* Tracked down all 4 locations in "Criss Angel Is A Douchebag".
Onto Season Two! :D
