VanCon: Home at last!
Sep. 2nd, 2009 01:36 pmOur wandering up north has come to an end and the wonderful weekend that was VanCon is over. It's sad to have it all over so quickly and I must admit that I miss Vancouver and our lovely hotel room, but it is good to be home (be it ever so cluttered...lol).
I'm currently transferring more of my thousands of photos from the camera to my flash drive, so the official VanCon pic posts will be starting soon. :) Saw & photographed a total of 23 locations and saw another 3 that I didn't get pics of. Yesterday was a quite a day of location hunting. We drove from downtown Vancouver all the way out to Port Moody, then Fort Langley, back west to Ladner/Delta, and up to Richmond before finally driving to the border and home. Phew! Never driven so long before in my life!
Can't wait to start watching the videos taken by people. I really can't remember everything, so it'll help me a lot with my own reports about the Con. There's so much to catch up on! Yikes!
Btw, I haven't been able to pick up my S4 DVDs yet (obviously). Are there any cool extras being offered by the various stores, like any extra discs or other goodies? I haven't heard and I'm curious about where I should buy it from. Usually I get them from Best Buy. Are they including anything cool?
Okay, I'm off to post today's Just 'Cause cap, even if it's a little late. Was simply too sleepy last night to get online. You'll have to give me a couple of days to catch up on things. I'll try to post a few more Con pics later today. :)
