No 5x04 episode review....yet

Normally I'd be posting my First Impressions review of 5x04 right now, but it's going to be delayed for a day or two.

Due to my LJ drama this week, I've fallen into a bit of a depression. I've hurt people, I've made bad decisions, and I haven't been a very good LJ friend. I apologize to those I've hurt and neglected. Changes need to be made and I'm still trying to figure everything out.

I did watch and enjoy the episode, but I can't find it in myself to type up a review right now. Later tonight I'll be attending the premiere of a film I worked on last year and I'll see what I can do when I get home. Hopefully I'll be in better spirits by then.

Regularly scheduled posts (Name That Cap Challenge & Just 'Cause) will continue as usual.

Happy Birthday Sony Walkman

Found out today is the 30th birthday of the Sony Walkman. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but to many of us, this little gadget was our first audio oasis on long car trips as kids. It was the perfect companion on family vacations. The Walkman, some comfy headphones, a large catalog of audio tapes, and you were set! :)

Just for nostalgia sake, here's a pic of my old Sony Walkman. It's from 1986! Yes, I still have it, complete with original instruction manual. Plus....it still works!!!!! Even after I dropped it some 10 years ago on our hard kitchen floor! This sucker is built! :)
