LJ Notification Suckage

As many of you know, LJ is having some issues with notifications. They put out word yesterday that they're working on the problem.

Thought I'd let everyone know that Sunday I had a 7 or 8 hour wait before comments reached my Yahoo Email inbox.

Currently, I'm not receiving any notifications at all.
I'm also not getting PMs...not even in my LJ inbox.

The only way I'm keeping tabs on incoming comments at all is by using my Recent Comments Page. "It's not ideal. In fact it's disgusting." (Sorry, that line from "Bloodlust" keeps popping into my head. Don't ask me why. :P) Anyway, it gets the job done for the time being.

Don't know if anyone else is having better luck with their notifications, but I thought I'd offer up my current status.

Finally got some Xmas decorating done, but still have the tree to do. However, progress is progress. ;) Got to some of my cards, too. Again, the laptop had the day off (poor, baby....I feel I'm neglecting it) and I'm enjoying my time on the PC. Thanks again to everyone who gave me Virtual Gifts! I sent out Snowflake Cookies myself, but didn't get to everyone before LJ pulled the freebie. Have a good Tuesday everyone! *hugs*

Quickies 13

:: Last night was the coldest it's been around here in western Washington for a long time. Where I live it got down to 18 degrees (F)! Good news - no snow....yet. Bad news - I haven't really felt warm in the past 24 hours. Finally conceded defeat and now have myself wrapped up in a fleece blanket. Brrrrrr....

:: LJ notifications still are non-existent. *sigh* I don't even have my Yahoo mail open. What's the point? I never realized how much I needed those notifications in my email, until they weren't there. This is what? Day 4 of this? I say LJ better compensate us for all this inconvenience with something special. This is really messing up my LJ experience. Grrrrr.

:: Nothing to watch on TV tonight. Bleh. :(

:: Really looking forward to Thursday's repeat of "The End" though. Future!Dean! *GUH* :)
