I'm a little late, but posting this for yesterday anyway.

Day 8: A photo that makes you angry/sad

This picture makes me sad because it's of my dad, back in the 1980s when I was just a kid. This is how I remember him for most of my young life. It's been over 3 years since he passed away, but I still miss him and my life has changed so much. Even today I'm still trying to find my way, get my life on a good track again. I'd do anything to have my dad back in my life, to be able to repair our weak relationship, to re-do so many missed opportunities. I've gotten past the anger and the hurt, but I still feel this hole in my life. This entry of the meme is flocked because I'd rather not have family photos posted publicly.

The lack of LJ notifications continues for the 4th day. *sigh* I'm getting some of the ones from 1 or 2 days ago, but very slowly. What a mess! In real life, we're still in a deep freeze around here, with our temps falling into the teens and braking records. *shivers* Have a good day everyone & try to keep warm! *hugs*
