This cap is from 1x19 "Provenance".

Today's cap is for [livejournal.com profile] trystan830 who simply requested "Dean looking hot". It'd be easy to say that almost any cap of Dean would qualify. ;)
My word, but I'm tired. What a week and I have a sneaky suspicion that next week might be similar. I sure hope I can rest and recharge this weekend. I know I should say something interesting, but I'm simply too sleepy.

:: What is up with LJ today? When I visit certain pages of my own journal or of others I get a warning about a Trojan from my Avast Anti-Virus. Anyone else getting this?

:: At the grocery store yesterday I had a guy walk past me and utter "Howdy there neighbor!" Nice and friendly, but I've never seen the guy in my life. Awkward, much? I ignored him and headed in the other direction.

:: Also at the grocery store, mom & I were at the check-out and I was waiting to put our stuff on the conveyor belt thingy when the store "helper" (I really have no idea what her title is) came up and suddenly started putting our purchases up on the belt. I said, "I was gonna start doing that" and she answered back, "Great. We can do it together" OMG I was simply waiting for the guy ahead of us to move up a little. I don't like to crowd people and he was standing right there, sort of in my way. I did not need help, nor did I want it and I felt her stepping in was very rude! I ranted about it in the car on the way home for quite a while. I mean really! I'm not helpless and I don't appreciate people helping me when I don't ask for it and don't need it! Grrrr!

:: Bought S1 DVDs of both Scarecrow & Mrs. King & Leverage yesterday. Mom & I started watching Leverage last night (at my insistence) and I think she likes it. ;)

:: Started reading "Life's That Way" and I'm finding it hard to put down. I hear Jim's voice in my head with every word and appreciate his raw honesty along with his gentle humor. It's already brought me nearly to tears a couple of times and I'm barely into Chapter 2.

:: So glad I can finally stay home for the first time since last Sunday. I was out every day, Monday through Friday, running errands for my aunt or my mom. I really got very little of anything else done which is frustrating. Doesn't help that I've been in pain all week, which leads me to...

:: The night of March 4th I had just settled into my chair by my desk when I realized I needed something from the desk that was kind of out of reach (don'tcha hate that?). Being a lazy idiot, I decided to reach for the item instead of doing the right thing and properly moving to where I could get a hold of it. I stretched out, felt my neck and shoulder strain and got the item. Didn't really feel too bad and figured it'd be fine by the morning. And it was fine...until 2 days later when it started hurting. And so it's been for the past 6 days now. The left side of my neck, upper back and shoulder are in a near constant state of pain. Wearing my bra with the shoulder strap resting over the offending shoulder is like wearing a torture device, but I wear it 'cause I'd be uncomfortable without it. Sometimes I slip the strap off my shoulder for a while, which seems to help. Yesterday I wore a heat/pain patch on it for the first time to help get me through the day and it sort of helped. I'm wearing one again today, but my shoulder was quite painful right upon waking up. I'm resisting taking Tylenol or other OTC pain relievers 'cause I really don't like taking that stuff anymore than necessary. If the pain gets super bad I will try taking some though. Mom (who just learned of this yesterday) said that if this doesn't start to get better soon I'll have to go to the doctor. Bleh. I hate doctors, so I'm hoping this heals on it's own.

So that's been my "fun" for the week. Owie. And to top it all off, yesterday I whacked my right wrist against the iron chair my mom has out in the kitchen (she sits on it while fixing her meals so she's not standing on her sore, arthritic knees). So now I've got a sore right wrist too . Peachy. :(

Yep, I'm the walking wounded right now. Didn't make my exhausting week any better that's for sure. Today my shoulder is really painful even with this patch. Might be time to cave in and take something. Bah.

I know I'm a little late with this, but I saw this around my flist yesterday and I wanted to share it too. Happy Jensen is so proud and likes "The End". He really did an amazing job on that eppy. It was a challenge but he truly rose to the occasion and pulled it off beautifully playing two different Deans.

You gotta love this guy...so appreciative of the fans and passionate about his craft. *loves*

I've been running into this problem all day and have seen postings from others reporting the same. We're getting an alert from Avast about a Trojan Horse on certain LJ pages.

Here's some info. I found about the problem:

Avast! anti-virus flagging our JavaScript loading as a trojan horse

Hey all,

Just an update that we've investigated the reports that something on various LJ pages (such as comment pages with existing comments) is causing anti-virus trojan horse warnings. Ops has investigated and confirmed that there is no such threat present on these pages, and Support has tested/confirmed that only Avast! anti-virus users are seeing this problem.

BBB was updated with the following:

"Users using Avast! anti-virus software are seeing trojan horse warnings when loading various LiveJournal pages. LiveJournal staff have investigated these reports and have determined that there is no infection on the LiveJournal site, including the files served by the l-stat.livejournal.com domain, but rather that a change in Avast!'s heuristics/definitions files has caused them to incorrectly flag the loading of some LiveJournal JavaScript files. Avast! users should contact the Avast! support department directly to report this issue."

Thanks!

Looks like it's a false alarm. The one comment to this post mentioned that they updated Avast (to DB 100313-1) and the problem stopped, so I might try that 'cause this is getting mighty annoying (not to mention unnerving until now).

Pass the word along if you know anyone who uses Avast. ;)

Edit: My Avast updated the virus database while I was making this post and now I'm not getting anymore Trojan warnings. They must have realized the problem and updated things. Glad that's over! :)
