1 - I have a lousy sense of direction in shopping malls, easily forgetting which direction I was going in when I leave a store.

2 - I've been to the top of Pike's Peak in Colorado (14,115 feet) via the Cog Railway and it was quite the breathtaking experience. I still remember the cold, the amazing view, and how thin the air was. Whoah!

3 - I've never traveled off the North American continent. Woe.

4 - My favorite drink is ice water. No, really. Lemonade is second and iced tea is third. Yep, I'm lame. :P

5 - I was nearly crushed in a mob of students while waiting in line for our yearbooks in high school.

6 - I can't stand eating fruit mixed with chocolate...in any form. Chocolate is sacred and shouldn't be mixed with anything fruity. Bleh.

7 - As a kid I was fascinated with maps, probably encouraged by my mom who made sure to show me where we were driving to on our many travels across the country. Kinda shows where my affinity for looking up SPN Filming locations comes from, hmmm? ;)


That took far longer than I thought it would. Sheesh. :P

Just 'Cause - Theme Week Caps

Some of you might remember the old Theme Weeks that I used to have here. Over time I've revisited them to post remaining caps and this week I want to finish them off. Since they're all small, I'll post 2 caps at a time.

We now have a title for 6x12. Um...*giggles* It's a weird one. :P
The filming dates have been updated accordingly with my best guesses.

List of Haunted Buildings in Vancouver, BC

Picked up this awesome little article on Twitter. It lists various haunted buildings in the Vancouver area.

HAUNTED BUILDINGS IN VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Several SPN filming locations are on the list including: Vogue Theatre (Criss Angel Is A Douchebag), UBC (various episodes), & Shadbolt Centre For The Performing Arts in Burnaby (Changing Channels).

Kinda cool to know that SPN was actually at some haunted places, besides Riverview, which surprisingly isn't on the list.

A little project I'm working on

Because I can't let either of my SPN convention experiences go, I'm putting together a little journal about them.

I'd originally bought a small journal to take notes in at this year's VanCon, but that didn't work out. So instead of using it for something else, I figured I'd still use it to document the convention, but I'd include last year's too.

I've printed out all my LJ entries about both Cons and cut them down to the size of the journal. This is way better than me writing it all out by hand and since it's all on LJ, I figured I'd save myself some work and time. I'm also printing out pictures to mix in. At the moment I'm cutting up the sheets of pictures. I'm sure I won't use them all.

Since I don't want to run out of room, I'll cover VanCon 09, then this year's Con, then include little bits from both cons like the White Spot restaurant (the meals we had), our hotel room, and the locations we visited. I hope it'll hold it all!
