I'M FINISHED!!! *collapses in a heap* See this post for reference.

Took me around 8 hours, but I looked at just about every journal of those who've friended me. That's over 500 journals, folks. I deserve some pie or somethin'!

I think I added around 10 people to my Flist. (Seriously, LJ...you track practically everything else but not who a person frends???) So if you're reading this post...you're in! :D Now you get to hear me whine about my RL. Aren't you lucky? :P

And just because there's always those on my flist who are relieved when they read posts like this and are so happy that they're still here....I DIDN'T CUT ANYONE. That's not what this session was about. I was ADDING ONLY. Everyone clear now? Good. :)

I'm still looking around at LJ layouts to use. Of course the paranoid part of me is also worried about saving all the layout code/settings I'm using now just in case I either don't like what I do or mess things up royally. Both a very big possibility. There's a way to save all that stuff, right? Some way that doesn't involve pulling my hair out in giant clumps? *hopes* Because I like what I've got and even if I do change things, I'd like to return to this at some point.

Anyway, I've got a few possibilities bookmarked. But this is a HUGE step. Sure, I've tweaked the heck out of this layout, but the only time I've used a custom-made layout is for my On The Set comm and that took a bunch of work, believe me. But I'm in this Spring Cleaning mode (if you haven't noticed...Twitter, Tumblr) and I'm kind of interested in a new look here on my journal. Changing the header, background, and Mood Theme isn't quite cutting it.

Oh, and I did this meme 'cause I spotted it on people's journals. I have to say, I think this is scarily accurate.

I'm sure I had more to say, but my brain has melted. lol
Welcome new Flisties! *waves* :)

Ok, how awesome is this overhead shot of Dean loading up shotgun shells with the Phoenix ash? That's right...Awesome!!! Hand!porn! FTW! And check out that cool knife on the right. :D

My goal is to post a title cap each day until I catch up to Season 7 and then it'll be weekly. Each cap has been given the same effect in Picnik, which I think provides a nice gritty, cinematic feel.

I think this was when he was asked if he'd ever been hurt while filming SPN.

Transcript from the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] spnchicago2008:

"I do remember in AHBL part II, when YED throws Dean into one of the tombstones and it comes up it's just before where Dean shoots him with the colt. I fell into the tombstone that they had softened on one side, but not on the other, it was a tombstone, and I fell so, I jumped back and hit it so hard, because I had a back pad on, but my elbow didn't have any pads, and I hit the corner of the stone right in funny bone - there's nothing funny about it, and It was Fred Lehne's coverage so it was over my shoulder, and I hit it so hard that my arm was shaking, and my hand felt like it was on fire. And I started tearing up, my eyes were welling, because it hurt so bad, and I had to continue to do the scene. We ended up doing it, but to this day, it's more sensitive than the one on my left arm."

Usual rules apply: :: No hotlinking :: Please credit me if you take/use/re-post :: Comments would be oh, so nice! :D

Me? Shallow? Oh, yes... *g* I can still hear the bottle crinkle in his hand! *guh*
If you read my earlier post you know what I've been up to on LJ. I meant to cap 7x11, really I did. Maybe later today. I need to watch last night's Fringe eppy, too, since I'm now all caught up with that show. :)
Have a good Saturday folks. *hugs*

What is it with me and trees?

We just heard a big creak and crack and boom! Sure enough, the tree on the other side of the kitchen window has fallen over and is leaning on the roof here at my aunt's house. Pretty sure it's leaning out right above where I'm sitting here in the dining room. Peachy. :(

See...the house next door has been empty for over a year. And lately the guy back behind my aunt's house (he's Asian, that's all I really know)...anyway, someone from that house, I'm sure of it, has been going into the backyard next door and slowly cutting down the trees. Months ago I caught this guy back there, hacking at a tree near our backyard. He was using a little hacksaw and a crowbar of all things! He was being sneaky about it too, cause once he saw me he ducked down real quick behind the fence.

Anyway, he's been working on this tree by the kitchen window of my aunt's house. He did it back before the snowstorm in January and sure enough...the next night a big limb from that tree ended up falling on the roof. He eventually cut it down the rest of the way and somehow pulled it down off the roof.

Just yesterday (Friday) we could hear and see him doing it again...and here we are with what's left of the tree leaning on the roof!!! If he wasn't over there...trespassing and cutting down trees that aren't his...we wouldn't be having tree trunks falling on the house!!!!

I realize they're desperate for firewood ('cause we're thinking that's their only form of heat - that they don't pay for heat like we do) but enough is enough! I'd call the authorities but I can't prove who it is, I'm only speculating. I've never actually seen where the guy comes from, but I know he's old, with white hair, and is Asian. Plus, I know the guy in back of my aunt's place burns firewood A LOT. We often smell it in the house here and the other night when mom & I came home from supper it was so strong that I was nearly choking.

Anyway, since it's dark we can't see much right now. We'll have to wait until daylight to see what kind of damage has been done. Last time we couldn't see any outside damage, but that was just me and my cousin, K looking from the ground in the backyard. And that was a smaller limb than this one. This is the big trunk of the tree...basically all that was left to fall. I can only imagine there will be damage to at least the eaves this time. Grrrrr. >:[

I'm tired of being a bad LJ friend. I said I was going to be better about replying back to comments this year and I'm determined to make that happen...even if I am a little over a month behind.

Found where I left off the last time - Just 'Cause post from Jan. 15th and I'll start from there. Counted up 115 posts to reply to comments to. Shouldn't be too bad, right? :P

Luckily some posts only have one or two comments. Then there are others...phew!
But I'm not complaining. I love every comment I receive. Keep'em coming. *hugs* :D

Time to dive in as I work on the dishes this afternoon.

Oh, and if you're on my Flist...the before mentioned tree problem? Resolved & taken care of with no visible damage, thank goodness.
