Think you know every SPN episode inside and out? So did I, but a new HDTV with a great picture and sound changed all that. I started to see things that I'd never noticed before. After a while I decided to make a list of all the things big and small that I came across, episode by episode.

I'd like to think of this as an in-depth look into Supernatural. It's a collection of interesting observations, continuity errors, goofs, filmmaking techniques, statistics, important (or not so important) information, trivia, and anything else that struck me as unusual.

I'll be examining each episode in order, one at a time. Some of the info. will probably be well known to most of you, but I hope to point out some new discoveries as well.

When the Monster truck is chasing Cassie's dad in the opening, at one point you can see about 3 people standing in the back of the truck bed.

Continuity Error: When the car in the opening is hit from behind by the truck, the crash pops the trunk open. Yet, moments later when the car vaults into the air and hits the ground, the trunk is closed again.

The service station they're at has a sign that reads Bismark, KY.

This is the first time we see that Sam has a journal.

When Dean is on the phone with Sam and doing research on the computer at the newspaper office, she gets both of them coffee. At one point you can see her with a mouthful of coffee, swishing it around in her cheeks! *giggles*

First use of Dean's "wait & I'll get back to you" hand signal to Sam - when he's kissing Cassie before they go to burn Cyrus.

To me, Cryrus's truck doesn't look old enough to be from 1966. It looks way too new and modern. And when the guys drag the original truck from the swamp, the exhaust pipes and mirrors are missing.
