First Impressions Review: 13x22 "Exodus"

Late again. Well, nobody's gonna read this anyway. It's just the completionist in me that wants to finish out my season of reviews.

Fade In, Fade Out: SPN's Beginnings & Endings - 6.19 Mommy Dearest

I'll try to post these every other week day (Mon-Wed-Fri), but I make no guarantees. Sometimes there will be more than one cap for a beginning or ending of an episode. I'm also using my capper's discretion - meaning I'm choosing the most aesthetically pleasing image that we see first or last not always literally the first or last things we see. I'll explain this as we go along.

6.19 Beginning: The episode begins with a couple of guys leaving a sports bar when they encounter Eve...and follow her back inside where mass death soon ensues.


We first see the boys in Bobby's basement where Dean is filling shotgun shells with the Phoenix ashes and demonstrates that it doesn't burn his skin at all.


6.19 Ending: By episode's end, Eve is destroyed and Sam & Bobby question Castiel's claim that Crowley is dead (based on Eve saying he wasn't) while Dean defends him. But back at the diner Crowley joins Castiel and complains about cleaning up his messes.
