VanCon is right around the corner and I've still got photos from last year to share! So this week is going to be all about my various "extra" photos that I haven't posted. Hope you enjoy them. :)
Sorry for the delay...RL chaos & all that. Today's post contains a few photos of a fan's Impala at the convention & then various photos of the city.

Fan's Impala at Sheraton Wall Centre: I'd kept hearing that there was an Impala down in the hotel's parking lot, but I didn't get a chance to actually see it and take photos until the end of Sunday when the convention ended. It was a nice looking car, though not with quite the gleaming, shiny coat of the original.

Views of the city from my hotel: I don't stay at the convention hotel - opting instead for something more moderate and comfortable. Not without it's perks, there's a nice viewing deck on the top floor where I like to get some photos of the surrounding buildings along with the Granville Street bridge. One big change last year is all the new buildings that are going up. Everywhere you look there are huge cranes and construction sites.

That's the Yale Hotel on the left. Home to several SPN wrap parties over the years. It's undergoing renovations so it'll be interesting to see how it's coming along a year later. It's certainly going to be dwarfed by the new condo building being built on the right.

Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel: I've been wanting to get some shots of the hotel's grounds at night with all the pretty lights in the trees. It wasn't quite dark when I took these, but it was the best opportunity I had last year.

Vancouver at night: More photos taken from my hotel's top floor. I really enjoy the surrounding apartment buildings at night when the places are lit up in different colors.
