Hold onto your hats folks....this post is about Jared. *hears gasps from JensenGirls*

No, I haven't lost my fangirly crush on Jensen, it's just that because of recent events I feel Jared deserves a little appreciation and love. I'll admit, I wasn't a big Jared fan when the show first started. All I could see was this geeky, lanky kid. But he's matured and really grown up nicely since then. I've even been known to swoon a bit over some Jared pics and some of my own Sam screencaps. He's really turned into a handsome guy.

First off, because I haven't done it yet, a big congratulations to Jared and Sandy on their engagement! They're a sweet, adorable couple and I wish them all the best. Of course, my filmmaking geeky brain immediately thought "Well, this means the show's Script Supervisor is going to need to make sure he isn't wearing his engagement ring when they're filming." LOL I can't help it. When I was Script Supervisor I had to watch for that with actors. Anyway, I couldn't be happier for them. When so many relationships never even make it past a month let alone 4 years like theirs has, it's a true testament to them for staying together so long. It can't be easy with Jared being up in Vancouver most of the year, even with Sandy going up to visit now and then, but they've been able to make it work.

More congratulations for Jared getting the lead in the new Friday The 13th film. Of course, the latest news is that the shooting of this film has now meant Jared has canceled attending the Asylum Convention. So far people seem disappointed, but understanding. This is his career, folks. Considering he can only make films when SPN isn't filming, it doesn't leave him with many options. The guy clearly loves meeting the fans, but work has to come first.
