Think you know every SPN episode inside and out? So did I, but a new HDTV with a great picture and sound changed all that. I started to see things that I'd never noticed before. After a while I decided to make a list of all the things big and small that I came across, episode by episode.

I'd like to think of this as an in-depth look into Supernatural. It's a collection of interesting observations, continuity errors, goofs, filmmaking techniques, statistics, important (or not so important) information, trivia, and anything else that struck me as unusual.

I'll be examining each episode in order, one at a time. Some of the info. will probably be well known to most of you, but I hope to point out some new discoveries as well.

All the caps in these posts are my own. While most of these will not be suitable for other uses, due to my cropping and highlighting, you're free to take any that you like. All I ask is that you give me credit for them. Thanks! :D

Beware! This post is image heavy.

Location, location: Corner the Impala drives up to: W. Pender, which is in Downtown Vancouver, near the waterfront.

Check out the Pender Grocery...

A map of W. Pender & Homer St which is where the building is.

Their security uniforms have their names on them, “Dean“ & “Sam“. *g*

What did he say? Dialog you can hear Dean say to the bartender: “Really? You were a gymnast for 5 years.“ Oh, Dean!

Dean checking out a girl again...

Hey, don't I know you from somewhere? The reporter's name on the newspaper article of the 1st victim looks like Cathryn Humphris (one of the show's writers). She wrote the episodes: “Dead Man's Blood”, “The Usual Suspects”, “Born Under A Bad Sign”, “Bedtime Stories”, and “Dream A Little Dream Of Me”.

Good old Vancouver weather...as they leave the bar it's raining. I know it's hard to tell in this cap, proof of why rain is so hard to photograph, but watch the scene and you'll see it. I seem to recall reading where this scene was also filmed down by the waterfront, in Gastown.

We see Dean's journal again with his notes on the symbol and the Daevas, along with Caleb's phone number.

When the brothers are preparing the weapons to square off against Meg, Dean does the gun cartridge tap.

Notice Dean grimace in pain when he gets into the Impala at the end. Yet another example of Jensen always giving his all for a performance even when the camera isn't centered on him.

Hope you enjoyed this revealing look at Shadow.
