Help with choosing file sharing service
May. 14th, 2008 05:10 pmI'm preparing to start posting my S1 screencaps and need your input, oh wonderful flist and lurkers. :)
I'll be posting selected caps in a picspam and then offering all the caps in zipped folders for downloading. I often use SendSpace or MegaUpload, but I'm wondering about other alternatives. I've also tried MediaFire without much success. I'd prefer not having to sign up to upload any files (as I'm signed up for far too many things already).
Edit: I'm currently giving MediaFire another try. Even signed up for an account, since it was so easy. It doesn't seem any faster than any others, but I know people use this one and it seems sort of popular. But keep the suggestions coming! :)
So what are your preferences for file sharing services/hosts? Are any faster than others? More reliable? Easier to use for people downloading? Do any keep the files up for more than 30 or 60 days?
Any details you can give me along with your suggestions would be super! Thanks! *huggles flist* :D
