If you miss any posts just use the SPN Beginnings & Endings Tag.
I'm going to try and post these every week day, which should put us ending it on or around December 21st for this shortened season. Sometimes there will be more than one cap for a beginning or ending of an episode. I'm also using my capper's discretion - meaning I'm choosing the most aesthetically pleasing image that we see first or last not always literally the first or last things we see. I'll explain this as we go along.

3.03 Beginning: The episode starts with this shot of a prison with lots of fencing & barbed wire.

Kubrick visits Gordon Walker in the prison and tells him more about the Devil's Gate opening in Wyoming & Gordon says Sam isn't human and must be killed. We see the boys in the Impala and Dean is upset that Sam didn't kill Ruby upon finding out she's a demon. Sam argues they can use her and that she claims to know how to get Dean out of his deal.

3.03 Ending: I like how the episode ends pretty much where it began...with Kubrick visiting Gordon in the prison. Gordon, of course, is even more determined to escape and kill Sam.
