I'll try to post these every other week day (Mon-Wed-Fri), but I make no guarantees. Sometimes there will be more than one cap for a beginning or ending of an episode. I'm also using my capper's discretion - meaning I'm choosing the most aesthetically pleasing image that we see first or last not always literally the first or last things we see. I'll explain this as we go along.

4.01 Beginning: We open the 4th season premiere with some visually startling flashes of Dean in hell.
I just find the close-ups of Dean's eyes in hell fascinating! The blood, the bright light and then darkness, the fear in Dean's eyes... And then after the teaser our first view is of Dean walking down a hot road after crawling out of his grave.
4.01 Ending: The episode ends rather epically, with Dean meeting Castiel and being told that he was saved because God commanded it and that "we have work for you."
