raloriaI've apparently just been spammed on LJ by someone spreading a link for a naked Paris Hilton video. Lucky me.
I Googled the site and came up with nothing but a list of dummy Livejournals with the same link to the Paris video. I did click on the link, but nothing really came up except an empty box. Hopefully it didn't do anything nefarious to my laptop (I figured I could take the risk being on a Mac. *hopes*).
Edit: Apparently the site did do something. It left a dmg file on my desktop. That's a file that usually is used to install programs on a Mac. I promptly dumped it in the trash and emptied it. So hopefully I escaped any danger from whatever that thing might have been. Gah.
I really don't have the energy (or the brain power) right now to handle this. Will report the abuse and block the LJ (it friended me) after I get some sleep.
