raloriaTime for a little random rambling. :)
Since this is a random post, it's time for a random cap. Not gonna say what episode it's from, but I'm sure those of you who know the episodes will easily guess it. ;)
+++ LJ Tweaking -- First, I've done a little extra tweaking to the layout again. Shrunk down the width of the layout a little, fixed up the text in the sidebar (using the Tahoma font), adjusted some links in the sidebar so everything's nice and neat, and changed my mood theme yet again. Really just minor stuff, but after switching to the "cloud" view for my tags a few weeks ago (which I now like), some extra adjustments needed to be made.
+++ My ever-growing To-Do List -- I just wrote out a new To-Do list. This is mostly of things to do for the month of June, so some are a little long term and others are just for this weekend. There's 25 items (so far). Eeep! Lots of SPN/LJ related posts (and prep for those posts) are listed, along with some other household and PC items. And that's not even everything. There's a lot of other SPN related projects (like fanfic, fanart, and music vid ideas) that aren't even on there. Told ya my To-Do list was scary. :P
+++ The Jared & Sandy news -- I've seen the confirmation all over my flist today....Jared & Sandy are no longer engaged. Official confirmation has been provided by Sandra herself in an email over at Sandra-McCoy.com.
Sandra answered my email! You can post this statement everywhere. I hope you all understand why she wrote that email.

It is true. Jared and I are no longer engaged. I did not want this information to have to come from me, but I felt it was necessary to confirm it in order to protect Jared from being asked questions about it this weekend in Dallas. Contrary to what you may have heard/read, our split was not caused by any foul play on either of our parts, we simply decided that it was not the right time for us. We still love each other very much, but we want different things in life, and it's a simple as that. Please know that it is extremely difficult for me to write this, and I can only imagine how hard it would be for Jared to have to talk about it in front of hundreds of fans. So I am answering the questions now with the hope that no one will make Jared have to speak about it publicly. Your support past, present, and future is very much appreciated.

It's sad to read about this. They seemed like a very happy couple. It's sort of hard to tell if they've just broken off the engagement or the relationship entirely. From what I heard of their engagement when they talked about it at the LA Con, they weren't planning on marrying right away. So why the sudden change of heart? They've been together for a long time, but a lot of that has probably been spent apart. Maybe the strain of a long-distance relationship got to be too much? Whatever the reason (which is entirely their business and none of ours), I hope nobody will bring this up to Jared at the Convention in Texas this weekend. If he volunteers it that is his choice, but I sincerely hope nobody will be callous and ask him about it. It's difficult enough maintaining a relationship in the public eye without people poking their noses into a personal matter between two people who are no doubt hurting over such a decision.
+++ Oh, to go back to the 1990's -- Filled up the car's gas tank yesterday and paid $4.23 per gallon. Yikes! Paying almost $50 for a tank of gas is outrageous. I keep thinking back to when I was growing up and even in the late 90's when gas was under a dollar a gallon. Oh, for the good old days!
+++ SPN MasterCard Vid Love -- Since posting my finished vid on Friday morning, the outpouring of comments has been amazing! I've gotten over 40 comments and as of this moment it's been viewed 430 times on YouTube! It's also been downloaded 41 times from SendSpace. So thank you to everyone who pimped it out and helped spread the word. You're awesome! *HUGS*
+++ On tap for the rest of today/tonight -- I have S1 caps of "Bugs" to post, some caps to make for my S2 SPN Revealed series, some random S2 caps to get (for your "Just 'Cause" requests), and some dishes to wash. Oh, yeah, and hopefully I'll get to some replies back to your comments, too. Real exciting, huh?
