raloriaGoodness! It's been 6 months since I did the last of these posts for Season 4's finale. Time to get back to it. :)

I'll try to post these every other week day (Mon-Wed-Fri), but I make no guarantees. Sometimes there will be more than one cap for a beginning or ending of an episode. I'm also using my capper's discretion - meaning I'm choosing the most aesthetically pleasing image that we see first or last not always literally the first or last things we see. I'll explain this as we go along.

5.01 Beginning: We begin the first episode of Season 5 right where Season 4 left off. The boys are together again, but Lucifer is about to be released from the cage in hell. Love that moment when they grab onto one another's jackets. :)
5.01 Ending: By episode's end Bobby is paralyzed thanks to Meg and her demons and the brothers' relationship is strained. Sam tries to apologize for following Ruby's plan but Dean tells him he's not sure he can trust Sam anymore. :( The chasm between the brothers mirrored in this shot with Dean already in the Impala and Sam standing alone in the parking lot.
