My thoughts are with Las Vegas tonight

raloriaCurrently watching live footage on ABC News on youtube of the terrible shooting in Las Vegas tonight.
There was a concert going on outside at the Mandalay Bay hotel/casino and a shooter opened fire on crowd with an automatic weapon from the 32nd floor of the hotel. I've watched several videos on Twitter. Horrific.
They're saying over20 50 are dead and over 200 injured.
I just...people who gathered to listen to music and have a fun night encountered terror and death instead.
I've been to Las Vegas many times over the years, though not in recent years. Honestly, I visited the Strip so many times I've lost count. I've got photos of the Mandalay Bay hotel, I've walked the Strip. I never felt afraid. I never could have imagined anything like this happening.
The police caught & killed the shooter, but are now looking for a "companion" of his.
My thoughts go out to the victims and their families and friends and bravo to the police and first responders.
