Btw, at first I thought this was Dean hitting Sam (as he does later in the promo) but if you slow it down he's just knocking the gun out of Sam's hands. Not Sam's usual gun, either. He never comes near hitting Sam's face in this instance. We hear Sam say, "Hey!".

I can't tell who/what this is...doesn't look quite human though.

And the biggest question...Who is this person??? I've read people speculating Chuck or Metatron, even Cain.
Maybe even Gavin...those poofy shirt sleeves are what he wore when we first saw him. The pants look all ragged and torn.
It could also be the same person in the creepy mask and blood splatters as the cap above. That's my only speculation.
