raloriaJust a little quickie explanation of what these posts are (because I know it's been a while)...I show you caps of the very beginning of each episode, literally the first thing we see. Then I show the first time we see either or sometimes both of the Winchester brothers. And I finish with the very last image of the episode before it goes to black. Enjoy!

I'll try to post these every other week day (Mon-Wed-Fri), but I make no guarantees. Sometimes there will be more than one cap for a beginning or ending of an episode. I'm also using my capper's discretion - meaning I'm choosing the most aesthetically pleasing image that we see first or last not always literally the first or last things we see. I'll explain this as we go along.

6.01 Beginning: The episode opens with this beautiful close-up of Dean in bed and as we soon see, with Lisa as his side, as we get a quick montage of Dean's new life juxtaposed with his old hunting life.
I usually don't go so far into the episode to go after another first view of the brothers, but this being the season premiere, I thought I'd break my own rule. Here's our first look at Sam, from Dean's POV as he wakes up after his encounter with Azazel.
6.01 Ending: By episode's end, Dean decides to stay with Lisa & Ben (for now) while Sam goes off to resume hunting with the Campbells. Such a sad and awkward goodbye between the brothers.
