I was checking out the Vancouver, English Bay WebCam over at Kat Kam, as I normally do and noticed a bunch of boats & ships in the water. More than I'd ever seen before. After a little exploring, I found out this is the first night of Vancouver's annual Celebration of Light. It's a fireworks competition between (usually) 3 countries. Once I realized what was going to happen, I prepared to start saving webcam images of the pyrotechnics.

Note: These images have not been altered in any way by me. They are the exact images I saved from the websites. They're not really "mine", so feel free to take any if you want. :)
You can see a crowd gathering on the bridge in the first row of images before all the excitement begins.

I concentrated on Kat Kam & this Downtown Vancouver Webcam. Hopefully I can find a video on YouTube of tonight's show in the next day or two. There's nothing up yet except past shows. I'd like to see the actual show I got the photos of. I can't wait to see the U.S.'s show. From what I saw on the website, this is their first time in the competition. :) |
