Semi-Hiatus: Random Ramblings

raloriaYep, still on my little hiatus...officially. But I decided I had a bunch of little things to talk about, so a random post is in order.
And you know my random posts mean a Dean cap. Here's our boy, looking adorable in that sexy leather jacket. :D
Feel free to guess the episode if you want. I think this one's kind of easy though.
*** In Shock: Got online to learn Bernie Mac has died. I'd never seen much of this work, but I liked him in "Ocean's Eleven" and the two sequels. It's so sad to know one of the "Ocean's" actors is gone. The team is incomplete now. :(
*** Swimmer Jensen: Proof that everything in life can somehow be connected to SPN....was watching the Olympics this evening and there was a U.S. swimmer named Larson Jensen in a race. Needless to say my ears perked up just hearing the name. *giggles* And then when they marked his lane with the name "Jensen" I couldn't help but grin. *iz dork* Sure, the guy looks nothing like our Jensen, but I still found it amusing. :P
*** Summer Olympics Question: Speaking of the Olympics in Beijing, I've been watching the Olympics since 1984. It's the first time I can recall watching them. Seeing several on my flist praising the opening ceremonies the other night got me to thinking about what events people like to watch. My favorites are: gymnastics, diving, swimming, volleyball (including beach volleyball), equestrian (if they ever show any of it on TV), and occasionally the odd Track & Field events.
What are your favorite Olympic events to watch?
*** Rainbow & Impala: Out running errands earlier today there was a beautiful rainbow just before sunset. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me. I also spotted what looked like a '67 Impala! It was tough to get a good look at it, since it was dark and in the opposite lane headed towards me. But the shape was right and looking in my review mirror, so were the taillights. It wasn't in great condition though and was a dingy turquoise color. But still...Impala sighting! :D
*** My Future LJ Maintenance: After my Semi-Hiatus ends I'm planning on taking care of my LJ a little. I want to swap in some new icons because I'm a little bored with the ones I'm using. I've also gained a bunch of new people who've friended me and I need to see who I want to add back.
