Crazy weather leads to crazy power outage

raloriaThis was another day that didn't go according to plan.
First, there was a big and very loud thunderstorm that went through the Puget Sound area last night. Big booms of the kind that we don't normally get around here...especially in the summer!
Then today, before I could even get online our power went out! It went out at 12:37 p.m. and then stayed off for 7 and half hours, coming back at 8:00 p.m. Mom & I ended up playing board games all afternoon to pass the time, which wasn't too bad.
It did get a little warm around 5 p.m., but then the weather started to change yet again. Clouds came in and a cool breeze cooled off the temps from the 80s to the 70s. News is we might get another round of thunderstorms tonight. Yikes! Crazy weather!
I'm off to check my flist, catch up on some replies, and maybe make some fanart. So at least the day won't be a total loss. :)
