• Saturday was pretty much a lost cause because I was sleeping so damn much. Gee, thank you, female body. *sigh* We had some excitement in the evening though when a big thunderstorm rolled through the area for a few hours. Believe it or not, but thunderstorms are pretty uncommon in Western WA & this one was very powerful! There were over 1,000 lightning strikes (200 just in Seattle alone in 1 hour). Thankfully, our power stayed on.
