Reminder: Tubi has all 5 Seasons of Alias available to watch, for FREE! Sadly, I think they're airing the eps with a lot of the songs replaced (Boo!), but it's still a great way to watch the series.
1x02 "So It Begins"
Written by: J.J. Abrams
Directed by: Ken Olin
Airdate: Oct 7, 2001
What bugs me about this 1st scene is Sydney's arrogance! Like the CIA has been waiting for her to join them. So they could take down SD-6 in record time as she put it. Did she forget her dad has already been doing this job? But she's giving Vaughn all this intel like she's their sole answer. Love how he shuts her up by showing her the map of how big SD-6 truly is.
Continuity error: In 1x01 when Syd enters SD-6, the door from the white room opens on the left, here it opens on the right. Ooops!
We learn Syd & Will have known each other for 3 yrs.
I love Weiss!
"Impressive?" (Said to Vaughn after he convinced the boss to help Syd). "Balls of Steel."
Vaughn scoffs.
Weiss: "No, that's what I'm going to call you from now on. (To a passing guy). Hey, have you met balls of steel?"
TV shows will teach you: always cut the blue wire on a bomb.
Ah, yes...from now on nothing but cliffhanger endings!
