This episode sort of starts the relationship between Alec and Joshua that will continue to build through the rest of the season. Later on in the season Alec ends up moving in with Joshua when his twin Ben's murder charges catch up with him. But this episode is mostly about Joshua's sudden talent for painting. Alec, of course, takes full advantage of this and sells his paintings to a local art dealer who's interest is piqued by the mysterious Joshua.

Part 1 covers Alec being given Joshua's first painting, then Alec selling it to Rita "Hello...little boy." (heehee! Love that line!), and finally Alec coaches Joshua on his next painting.

You'll notice there's no comments for the caps this week. I decided to forgo the comments to save time, since I'm sort of in a rush today. Quite honestly, nobody has ever made note of my comments and sometimes I'm really stretching for things to say (hard to believe, I know, but it's true).
