I've thought of doing this for a while now and recently got a chance to take some photos so....here it is. A little peek at the place I hang out at most....my bedroom. :)

Keep in mind that this isn't everything. But....um...the rest of the room is quite a mess and no way am I showing that! :P

My Bed: I've gone through various comforters over the years, but this one might be my favorite. It may not match my room (but then...what does? Ha!) but I love the tropical theme. The Florida Keys is one of my favorite spots and this reminds me of when I visited there back in 1994. As you can see my room is painted pink. My older cousin, K, who I practically grew up with had her bedroom painted pink when we were kids and of course mine had to be the same. It originally was yellow when I was a baby. The photos on the board are from my dad's side of the family. The other 2 photos are pictures torn from an old calendar. And yep, those are 2 stuffed animals up by the corner. Yes, I sleep with them....out of habit and nothing else. I'm hoping to do better. ;) But they're old friends and I can't bear to kick them out. One is an old (formerly) white cat, named Puff, that I've had since I was a toddler. The other one is a pink rabbit, named Pinky, that was a birthday present from my mom & dad when I turned 7 years old.

My bookshelves: This is the only part I can show you. The rest? A disaster area. *sigh* As you can see, even this part is very cluttered. Soft toys all over the place, including my beloved Cheer Bear that I've had for many years. She's in pristine condition, btw. Not a mark on her. Cheer Bear along with the teddy bear on the left have been on many of my travels with me in the past. They are tried and true companions. :) You'll notice that a lot of the books are about filmmaking. Big surprise, huh? ;) A lot of the books on the right are quote books ('cause I love quotes) and poetry books because for a while I was very much into reading poetry. Oh, and don't get too excited over seeing the LOTR books. I've never read any of them. I've had that set for years and when the movies came out I tried to read them....really....I tried. But I couldn't stick with them. *sigh* Love the movies, can't get through the books.

West Wall I: If you notice the pictures at the bottom you'll recognize them from the photo of my bed, above. The framed picture of the unicorn is very special to me. My dad gave me that when I was a kid. We were in a Hallmark store one day and I spotted this print and really wanted it. Now my parents were fairly strict about not buying me just anything I would want, but that day my dad said "yes" and bought it for me. He even put it in this old frame we had and painted it white. I love looking at it and marveling at all the colors and things in it. And it reminds me of my dad. The 2 little plaques on the left were gifts from friends in high school. And all the prints along the bottom of the frame and on the right side are my photos I've taken over the years on my travels or of family/friends.

West Wall II: These are various torn out calendar pictures I've got taped to the wall above my stereo. And of course, a Mulder and Scully magazine poster from when "Fight The Future" came out. Shows how often I change pictures on my walls, huh? :P

Computer Desk: Well, actually, just the top half....laden down with books of all kinds. The top left has quote and computer books, the bottom left has more filmmaking books, the top right is my journals and Photoshop books, the bottom right is my drawing and sketch books. There's also various little trinkets here and there, some Star Wars toys (Yoda and R2D2 on the upper right), and my hand-made SPN calendar page for November with Dean & the Impala in the middle. :)

My Window: Or my view of the world, you might say. This is what I look at every day. That's our old, rundown shed on the left and our backyard neighbor's pool house in back of that. I've got a little more of a view of the sky since the big monster tree was taken out of that left corner the summer of 2007. There's also a crystal hanging in front of the window. It's great during the winter time when the sun shines in and hits it, spreading little rainbows all over my room. :)
