Winter arrives a little early

raloriaUgh. The big winter storm hit. Mom & I tried to get our errands done early, but we didn't quite finish in time. By 7 p.m. we came out of a store and it was blowing a lot of very wet snow. By the time I got our purchases in the car and the snow cleared from the windows, I was soaking wet!
Now that we're home and I've gotten a chance to change out of my wet clothes and into some dry jeans and comfy slippers I feel a little better. I was soaked to the skin in my jeans and so cold. Brrrrrr. The snow has quit for now, but we might get more overnight and into Saturday. The temperatures are supposed to keep falling into the 20s and teens by Monday and Tuesday and then on Wednesday and Thursday more snow appears in the forecast. Gah! Luckily, one of the reasons we were out shopping today was to stock up for this storm, so we should be set for a while.
I'm off to check my flist and hopefully get to bed early tonight.
OMG....my local CW station is going to show "Spaceballs" this weekend. I've never actually seen the film before, but it looks silly enough that I might just tune in. *gigglesnort*
