This cap is from S4 "Metamorphosis".

Today's cap is in answer to the request by luthien_af for "...caps of the brothers (either of them) where they're either looking at each other or thinking about the other, and where you can see how they feel reflected in their eyes." This description had me instantly thinking of that emotional scene at the beginning of Metamorphosis when Dean's discovered that Sam's using his powers and is very pissed...and worried. After he admits that if he didn't know Sam, he'd want to hunt him, the boys are both very close to tears. They're then interrupted by Travis's call, but this cap shows Dean still looking at Sam, so much being spoken through his eyes and expression. He's losing Sam, but he still loves him...eyes full of pain, doubt, and worry. This scene still breaks my heart, but goodness knows they need to be talking more like this right now.
