In Part 7: Alec rejects Max's sympathy and finds trouble when two men attack him after he leaves the bar. After another mystery phone call, he heads back to the house and more flashbacks ensue.

All caps were made by me from the S2 DVD set and adjusted for size, color, contrast, and sharpness.

Part 7 -

Just thought I'd point out the great lighting in this scene. They've got a nice soft light on him, some of which is being bounced up at him from the light hitting the bar. And if I can be fangirly for a moment...yay! arms! So glad he's wearing only a t-shirt here!

Max tries to give him some comfort, but he pulls away. Alec: "I don't want your pity. I want your absence."

So she quickly retreats..."I'll leave you alone."

Love the 2nd cap - it flashes by pretty fast. The 3rd one's nice too, with his shoulders all hunched over.

The first cap...love it! Then we have our little fight scene. Have I mentioned how hard it is to cap fight scenes? That's the reason why there's only a few here. They were the only frames where he was mostly in focus.

Max comes to his rescue, thank goodness, but of course, he doesn't want her help. Then he gets another mysterious phone call with Rachel's piano music playing.

Okay...his lips in these first 3 caps....yeah...I have no words.

He look so nice in that suit...his hair is perfect. And check out the famous Jensen "look" - where he just keeps his head still and shifts his eyes. He does that a lot on SPN.

I love the last cap in this row. He's just being pushed too far now. All that anger and frustration....

and he throws his phone into the alley. Love the lighting here, btw. Then he heads back to the house. These two caps are pretty dark. Did my best to fix them up. It's always hard to get good caps when people are walking.

More flashbacks! And check out the dolly zoom performed in the first two caps. That's the technique used in Hitchcock's "Vertigo" where the camera moves forward while zooming out at the same time.
