Dark Angel Picspam # 10 - The Berrisford Agenda - Part 10

In Part 10: Alec says his tearful farewell to Rachel and then goes to her grave and is confronted by her father. Back to work at Jam Pony, a sympathetic Max tries to get Alec to talk.


All caps were made by me from the S2 DVD set and adjusted for size, color, contrast, and sharpness.

Part 10 -

*whimper* More angst! I wonder if the crew on the set was in tears?


It's nice that Max saw him like this and finally learned that there was more to this story than she was assuming. Her scene following this with Logan goes a long way in showing how her attitude towards Alec has changed...at least for now. Alec's been out sick and she doesn't even complain about working extra shifts. Then she learns from Logan that Rachel has died. Max: "So it's over. At least he had a chance to say good-bye." Logan: " You think he really cared about her?" Max: "He loved her."


What a beautiful profile shot! I wanna make a wallpaper or something out of that. This is such a nice scene.


Berrisford: "I thought I could kill you. I hate you that much." The 3rd cap...eyes closed.


I'm just gonna keep going on and on about the profile shots because I love them so much. And profile with his eyes closed....I'm in heaven.


OMG...black sweater...*drools*...*dies*


1st cap...*thud*...the man can kill with one look. Meanwhile...more profile shots! Max: "Listen, if you ever wanna talk--" Alec: "About what?" Max: "About anything."


Alec: "Now why would I want to do that?" Max: "Just consider the offer open."


Ah, the crooked smile. His whole attitude here reminds me a lot of Dean. The whole I'm-okay-and-can-handle-this-on-my-own behavior.


The hair, the black leather jacket...yeah...I'm in love.


Alec: "Listen. Thanks for saving my ass." Max: "You're all right?"


And with that quirky little smirk..."I'm always all right." The first cap in this row, btw? One of my all time favorite Alec/Jensen images.


Just like Max told Logan...Alec is "so cut off". He's pretending none of this ever happened and denying the pain that he's feeling deep inside. *Sigh* I know all too well what that's like because I do it myself. Dean does that as well. He's got to be the constantly brave soldier while Sam struggles for control. It amazes me how similar Alec and Dean are as characters. So much internal struggle hidden behind a layer of bravado and swagger.


To close this picspam up I just want to thank all of you who have stopped by and enjoyed my caps. Your comments for the first set motivated me to keep going through the other half. I feel a great sense of accomplishment in completing this because it's by far the largest picspam I've ever done. A great deal of work and time went into each and every cap and being the perfectionist that I am, I must say that even I'm proud of these. I also want to thank you for your patience as I had to delay this picspam several times to work around my college schedule. I look forward to seeing what homes these caps go to and what great fanart will come from them. :)

Just one more reminder that I will be posting 2 zipped folders of all the caps for downloading later on today. I've also made some audio files of the key scenes from the episode and will have those available as well.
