Episode 4.16 - “On The Head Of A Pin”
written by Ben Edlund and directed by Mike Rohl

Official Description: Someone found Lucifer's sword and is using it to kill angels. Castiel (Misha Collins) and Uriel (guest star Robert Wisdom) have captured Alastair (guest star Christopher Heyerdahl) and ask Dean to use the torturing skills he learned in Hell to extract information from him so they can stop the murders. Sam is concerned Dean can't handle the job but Dean agrees to do it. However, when Alastair reveals some shocking information, Dean's world is shattered.

My Thoughts:

:: This may very well be the biggest episode of S4 so far.
:: This episode is going to be DARK.
:: The little bit we saw of Dean in a hospital bed from that new episodes promo before the hiatus ended? That's from this episode.
:: Alastair breaks free from that star, but how?
:: There is going to be major whumping on Dean, both physically and emotionally. *hugs him*
:: This is an awesome way to show what Dean was like in Hell, without actually showing us Hell. Good work show!
:: Sam's hanging out with Ruby again, but is he heading down the dark path with good intentions? Thinking he can control it?
:: My guess is that Sam is going to finally take out Alastair, in order to save Dean.

Let me just say that I am surprised, delighted, horrified, worried, and excited about what I learned in this promo. At first I was a little disappointed that I learned the big secret about Dean, but then I was kind of relieved that I didn't have to wait a whole week to find out! The the bit about Sam? Whoah. This cannot be good. *shudders*

I will have a separate post about this Space promo a little later on & I'll link to it here. That way, people who perhaps don't want to be that spoiled can avoid them.
