Just a little quickie update...
* Loved Folsom Prison Blues! Great episode all the way around (except for a few minor, tiny problems). Snarky!Dean and WorryWart!Sam. I really needed a fun, yet creepy ep like this after the day I had. More on this in a sec.
* Made 182 caps from my recording of FPB! I had good TV reception. Yay! Was fixing the caps when I decided to try a feature out in Irfanview that I've only played around with before. I was able to set it up to batch convert (and make adjustments to color, etc.) and rename all the caps and it did it all in just seconds! *is dumbfounded* Why did I wait so long to try this out? Had to make some tweaks to make sure the settings were just right and tried them out several times, but once I narrowed it down, it did all the work and I just sat back and was amazed at it's speed. Then I checked out the finished caps and was awed by the results. And to think I've been laboring over fixing caps for hours for my picspams! I won't necessarily use this method for everything. I'll have to experiment with it a bit more. But wow! I don't even think Photoshop can do something like this. Too cool!
Anyway, the caps are done for my review, but not all of them are uploaded to Photobucket yet. Just ran out of time. I also haven't finished writing out my review. I'll get it up sometime this weekend.
* Now the bad news...at least to me. My stupid cell phone isn't working. Well, it's working...it's on, but it isn't receiving a signal at all. I can't make calls and I can't receive any. Grrrrrr! So frustrating. Must be gremlins...or a poltergeist. Heh. It's been like this since Wednesday afternoon. I've had moments where there's no signal, but never anything like this. It's crazy how dependent I've become on this little piece of technology. Well now it's not working and it's just a hunk of metal and plastic that lights up. *Exasperated Sigh* I plan on going to the store to find out what's going on today. I can only hope it's something simple. *crosses fingers* I need my phone back!
* Meanwhile, the documentary editing is reaching its final stages. Still making a few adjustments to volume levels, etc., but most of the big work is done. Hope I can get it done by our deadline on Sunday.
* All my time spent editing has really put a crimp in my TV viewing. Been recording lots of my programs so I can watch them later...whenever that is. Haven't seen this week's Gilmore Girls or the last Dancing With The Stars. Heck, I was lucky to make it home in time Wednesday to watch Lost! And then of course, there's Survivor from last night. :|
* Still trying to catch up with all your comments. Doesn't help that I keep making more posts. Ha! :P I will get back to everyone, I promise and please don't stop commenting. I love hearing from everyone! :)
