Spring really sucks sometimes...
Apr. 30th, 2007 05:04 pmI hate pollen. I really do. The tree pollen's been especially high around here this spring and while it gave me a cough that I've battled through over the past month, it's now attacked me with a vengeance. In short....I'm sick.
It's all because of my stupid tonsils. They never got taken out when I was a kid and they've been nothing but trouble and misery for me ever since. 'Course now I'm kinda afraid to have them taken out because of my fear of hospitals/doctors. I seem to go through this "sickness" every spring. My tonsils swell up and get sore, I even get a fever and a few other symptoms (congestion, body aches, burning eyes, lack of energy). Yesterday I just slept most of the day/night while I took some over the counter meds that've helped me in the past. I was a total couch potato. But at least I got caught up with my TV viewing. Today, I feel somewhat better, at least well enough to be on the computer.
I don't think it's a coincidence that this allergy bug hit me the day I finished my editing of the documentary footage. The stress had really been building over the past week to get my pieces done in time. I (along with my friend and fellow documentarian, M.G.) showed our finished or nearly finished work to our instructor and he was quite pleased. He laughed like mad over my blooper reel. :D We finished up on the end credits and M.G. said he would finish up the final little tweaks on my blooper reel. So my work was done. It was a long day and by the time I got home I was already feeling my throat getting sore.
In other news...I've got a new cell phone. Yay! The guy at the store said he couldn't figure out what was wrong with my old one. The new phone is very similar to the other model, but it's blue (one of my fave colors!). So nice to have a working phone again!
Hope to have my review/picspam for FPB posted by this evening/tomorrow. So stay tuned. Don't know how I'm gonna get my other picspams done this week, considering I haven't capped any of them yet. We'll have to see how things go, I guess. Maybe after I get my review up I'll still have time and energy to cap the next SPN & DA episodes.
Oh, and one last reminder that I'll be changing my header by midnight (my time). Say goodbye to demon-hunting Dean and hello to Sam & Dean!
