raloriaI must to have gone out walking today in the weather we're having. It's been raining and gusting all day. And I went out in it. Crazy!
When I started out the rain was literally coming down in sheets! Still, I pressed on. I decided to take the big loop twice (no hill, I had enough battling the wind). Twice the shaft of the umbrella banged against my head. Ow. My legs ached the whole way, probably from my extra long workout yesterday. Still, I pressed on. The wind pushed against me a lot and at several points I was leaning down, into the wind and watched as my umbrella bent against the force. At another point my umbrella got turned inside out. Oh, yeah...fun, fun, fun all the way around. I'm sure I'm the talk of the neighborhood by now. "Look at that crazy gal walking in all kinds of weather. And she's not even walking a dog!"
Today was one of those days where I really needed to remind myself why I'm doing this. Near the end I was even visualizing Jensen & Jared waiting for me up ahead, cheering me on! And get this....at about this time, for a few paces....I swear I smelled sulfur! I kid you not, there was the smell of rotten eggs in the air! I turned around a little (like I was expecting a demon to show up? *iz crazy*), but I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. And then, just as quickly as it appeared it was gone. Crazy!!!! I really don't want to think about that too much. It's just a little too insane, even for me. :P
Anyway, it was an eventful walk and here I sit, the legs of my jeans completely soaked through. Lovely.
